About The Position

The Walsh Group is seeking Safety Interns for its Wisconsin Region in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin. The internship program provides preparation for leadership roles on and off the jobsite and offers hands-on experience across operational divisions and projects, with potential travel throughout the United States. Interns are matched with positions related to their academic and career goals. They may work on jobsites or in the office, including supporting estimating and preconstruction pursuits. Interns learn about multiple career paths and receive training intended to prepare them for full-time employment after college graduation.

Requirements

• Ability to work a 12-week schedule is preferred.
• Specific roles may require relocation.

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers or field supervision staff with project coordination.
• Estimate costs for change orders.
• Solicit bidders and coordinate subcontractor activity.
• Schedule contracts and materials.
• Manage project documentation.
• Coordinate subcontractors.
• Support safety management.
• Participate in team meetings.
• Write RFIs and submittals and assist with change orders.
