About The Position
Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment is hiring an Events Intern for its paid, part-time seasonal internship program running from November 2026 to May 2027. Start and end dates may be flexible to accommodate the intern’s academic calendar. The program is based at the company’s Industry City Corporate Headquarters in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, with a hybrid schedule involving some in-office days and some remote days. Interns are expected to work approximately 20–40 hours per week and may also work at Barclays Center or the Brooklyn Basketball Training Center. The Events Intern supports planning and execution of basketball and non-basketball events across multiple venues, gaining hands-on exposure to event operations. The position involves daily operational support and event execution, including planning, documentation, venue setup and breakdown, and coordination with external partners. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays may be needed.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Support daily event operations through walk-throughs and inventory tracking.
- Assist with planning and documentation for basketball and non-basketball events across multiple venues.
- Participate in on-site event setup and breakdown.
- Coordinate with external partners.
- Support event execution and operations.
Benefits
- Paid seasonal internship; compensation is $18 per hour.
