About The Position

Accurate Personnel is hiring a Safety Coordinator for its corporate team. The role focuses on minimizing the risk of job-related accidents at prospective and existing client sites and developing policies that promote occupational health and safety awareness. The Safety Coordinator conducts site evaluations and risk assessments, advises on discrepancies, supports investigations, educates employees, and helps monitor client compliance. The position involves significant local, regional, and/or national travel to evaluate sites, deliver OSHA training, and support ongoing compliance. A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to fly are required. The position is located in Rancho Cordova, California, and pays $25–$27 per hour, paid weekly; the salary range is based on experience.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience as a supervisor in a warehouse environment, or equivalent.
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to travel to client sites in other regions.
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to fly.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking and presentation skills.
Understanding of federal, state, and local requirements, including OSHA.

Nice To Haves

OSHA 30-hour General Industry certification card preferred; OSHA 10-hour certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Advise prospective clients on safety discrepancies and recommend ways to minimize risks and support a successful partnership.
Oversee and occasionally direct accident investigations to identify root causes and recommend process improvements.
Collaborate with managers to monitor current client compliance and oversee safety observation reports for trend analysis.
Educate employees on safety standards and expectations.
Maintain documentation of company safety procedures, accidents, and related events.
Conduct safety evaluations at client sites, deliver OSHA training, and support ongoing compliance.
