About The Position

Zachry Group is currently seeking a Safety Clerk. The Safety Clerk will perform a variety of routine functions under general supervision and in accordance with standard procedures. The successful incumbent will be responsible for safety data entry & processing data audits. This position is at Cheniere SP LNG, Maintenance, located in Cameron, LA (Johnsons Bayou). NO PER DIEM OFFERED, CURRENT TWIC CARD AND DRIVER LICENSE REQUIRED.

Requirements

  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current Drivers License
  • TWIC Card
  • Must also be capable of learning and applying company and site safety rules to the work being performed.
  • Solid working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft office products
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Clerk will be required to interact with site management, safety team & possibly internal and external customers)
  • Must be willing to follow all company directives and safety procedures.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Deadline driven.

Responsibilities

  • Full-cycle ordering for PPE & Safety Supplies. For example, requesting quotes, creating site requisitions, receiving tickets & auditing receivable goods to orders.
  • Conduct safety data entry audits for PPE, supplies, and FRC orders, ensuring compliance with regulatory and operational standards.
  • Scan and electronically file TSA, inspection, and order slip documentation, maintaining accurate and secure records.
  • Enter SMART Focus data entry.
  • Crane audit entries, supporting operational oversight and compliance tracking.
  • Execute field hazard audit entries for supervision teams, document safety observations and corrective actions.
  • Maintain crane audit entries, ensuring timely and accurate reporting for safety and maintenance coordination.
  • Verify and enter safe catch data into the company portal, supporting safety monitoring and incident tracking.
  • Audit and process FRC orders, ensuring completeness and accuracy before release to operations.
  • Maintain up-to-date safety and compliance records, supporting audits, inspections, and regulatory reporting.
  • Reply to assigned requests correctly, efficiently and communicate in a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, job site employees and site management.
  • Complete special projects as required by manager.
  • Other duties as assigned.
