About The Position

BAE Systems is hiring for a Semiconductor Senior Equipment Maintenance Technician IV to work in our Nashua NH Location. This is a Monday to Thursday four ten-hour days position with every weekend providing a three-day work life balance. This position will be on a second shift schedule with a differential pay. This role will be responsible to carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on foundry production equipment by following predefined maintenance procedures and best-known methods. Additional responsibilities are as follows: Use production software programs to record completion of maintenance tasks and any related data. Communicate with other maintenance team members and equipment users, both verbally and via email, of completion of tasks and any follow up actions required. Carry out troubleshooting on Foundry Production equipment Position necessitates working as part of the Fab Maintenance team on new equipment installs Must be able to quickly react to change of priorities as directed by your manager This position requires wearing cleanroom attire and working in a cleanroom environment As a technician, standing, kneeling, reaching and occasional lifting 30+lbs may be required to repair equipment To perform some tasks, you will be required to wear PPE and must be willing to safely work with hazardous materials & chemicals Will be responsible for supporting other Equipment Maintenance activities such as parts & chemical inventories, general purchasing needs, etc. Will be responsible for routine tasks of gas bottle changes and being trained in the use of SCBA, shipping out of parts or equipment for cleaning or repair. Will be trained in the safety requirements for working on Acid and Solvent benches as required. Requirements

  • Associates degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years troubleshooting, maintaining & repairing semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
  • Particularly experienced in Metals, Photo or Dry Chemistry Production areas.
  • Electronic knowledge. Such as using, multi-meters, soldering know how and component Identification.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of High Vacuum Technology is preferred.
  • Preferred to have knowledge in Semiconductor equipment such as Oxford, SPTS, Temescal, Plasma-Therm, KLA, and other semiconductor manufactured tools.
  • Experience with Evaporator, Etch, PECVD, HDCVD, PVD (Sputter) and thinning experience would be preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform standing, kneeling, reaching and occasional lifting 30+lbs to repair equipment.
  • Wear PPE and safely work with hazardous materials & chemicals.
  • Support other Equipment Maintenance activities such as parts & chemical inventories, general purchasing needs, etc.
  • Perform routine tasks of gas bottle changes and be trained in the use of SCBA, shipping out of parts or equipment for cleaning or repair.
  • Be trained in the safety requirements for working on Acid and Solvent benches as required.
  • Work in and learn multiple areas of the cleanroom.
