Tri-National is currently seeking a Safety Administrator to join our team! As a member of the Safety Department, you will assist in implementing and coordinating programs and processes to ensure regulatory compliance throughout our business. Requirements

• Possesses good communication, counseling and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates the ability to manage stress, multitask, & prioritize.
• Knowledgeable of HOS Regulations and FMCSR Regulations.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, with emphasis on hours of service.
• Looking for someone who is self-motivated and detail-oriented.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in Safety and DOT regulations in Transportation, preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferred.
• Proven track record of achievements, a plus.
• Prior supervision of OTR Drivers, a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections of driver’s vehicles and credentials ensuring they are in compliance with company policy and the law.
• Manage and maintain monthly Driver Violation Summary Letters and spreadsheet.
• Perform shop inspections.
• Administer driver training and counseling as needed.
• Perform high volume new hire orientations.
• Assist with coordinating random drug and alcohol tests.
• Assist with other department needs as requested.
