The Safe House Support Worker is responsible for providing a range of support services and activities to work toward healing and empowerment of the women and children accessing our services. This includes orientating new residents to the Safe House and services, providing individual counseling, support groups, life skills workshops, advocacy, case management, crisis intervention, children’s services, recreation, safety, and referrals. The role also supports intake, emergency case management, wrap-around, exit, and aftercare processes, and provides ongoing advocacy, education, and support for clients.
