Responsibilities

  • Lead a process improvement project under the guidance of an experienced scientist to identify and implement solutions that enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with fellow laboratory team members to achieve collective results while identifying additional opportunities for system and process enhancements.
  • Carry out laboratory activities and service assignments, together with corresponding administrative work, based on short‑ to medium‑term planning.
  • Apply critical thinking, a strategic mindset, and foresight in evolving technical environments to support high‑quality scientific outcomes.
  • Document and report findings in a clear and concise manner and present final recommendations at the conclusion of the internship.
  • Maintain detailed records of experimental data and ensure data integrity in all laboratory activities.
  • Support co‑laboratory workers during the execution of activities and contribute to a collaborative team culture.
  • Perform tasks to maintain the quality of equipment and quality certification in line with NAL qualification and internal standards.
  • Be responsible for compliance with regulations regarding quality and phytosanitary policies and help secure a safe, compliant, and positive work environment that meets all HSE, Business Conduct, and HR requirements.
