About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a Lab Intern to join their team in St Paul, MN. This is a paid internship opportunity within Labcorp's 2027 Global Internship Program, lasting 11 weeks full-time. The intern will shadow laboratory professionals, learn diagnostic workflows, assist with non-testing laboratory tasks, participate in approved mock testing and basic laboratory techniques under supervision, and support approved laboratory projects. The program aims to provide hands-on work experience, exposure to Labcorp's global business and culture, leadership visibility, and networking opportunities. The internship runs from June 1st to August 13th, 2027. Labcorp is a global leader in laboratory services, advancing diagnostics and accelerating innovation to address health challenges.

Requirements

Current enrollment in a Chemical, Biological, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology Bachelor’s degree program
Interest in laboratory science
Interest in diagnostics industry
Demonstrate strong attention to detail and willingness to follow laboratory procedures
Eagerness to learn new laboratory skills and scientific concepts
Show initiative and the ability to work independently under general supervision
Maintain professionalism, including punctuality and appropriate conduct
Strong communication skills; both written and verbal

Rising juniors and seniors (Dec 2027 through June 2029 graduation) who are currently enrolled in a relevant degree program

Responsibilities

Shadow laboratory professionals and learn diagnostic workflows, instrumentation, and department operations
Assist with non-testing laboratory tasks, such as specimen organization, inventory, and workspace preparation
Participate in approved mock testing, demonstrations, and basic laboratory techniques under supervision
Support approved laboratory projects
Follow all safety and compliance standard operating procedures
