About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a Lab Intern to join their team in St Paul, MN. This is a full-time, 11-week paid internship as part of Labcorp's 2027 Global Internship Program. The intern will shadow laboratory professionals, learn diagnostic workflows, assist with non-testing tasks, participate in supervised mock testing, and support laboratory projects. The program offers enterprise-wide learning experiences, leadership exposure, an in-person intern event, senior leader speaker sessions, networking opportunities, professional development, and engagement with employee resource groups. The internship runs from June 1st to August 13th, 2027. Labcorp is a global leader in laboratory services, advancing diagnostics and accelerating innovation to address global health challenges.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in a Chemical, Biological, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology Bachelor’s degree program
• Interest in laboratory science
• Interest in diagnostics industry
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and willingness to follow laboratory procedures
• Eagerness to learn new laboratory skills and scientific concepts
• Show initiative and the ability to work independently under general supervision
• Maintain professionalism, including punctuality and appropriate conduct
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal

Nice To Haves

• Preferred candidates are rising juniors and seniors (Dec 2027 through June 2029 graduation) who are currently enrolled in a relevant degree program; however, all current students pursuing related studies are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Shadow laboratory professionals and learn diagnostic workflows, instrumentation, and department operations
• Assist with non-testing laboratory tasks, such as specimen organization, inventory, and workspace preparation
• Participate in approved mock testing, demonstrations, and basic laboratory techniques under supervision
• Support approved laboratory projects
• Follow all safety and compliance standard operating procedures
