About The Position

TBC Corporation is hiring a full-time Service and Delivery Driver to deliver products to customers professionally and safely using company vehicles. The role also assists with general warehouse maintenance and inventory organization and may offer opportunities for career growth. Drivers work in a friendly environment and are expected to follow company policies, DOT regulations, and TBC’s People-Focused Values.

Requirements

Safety-first mentality.
A current driver’s license appropriate for the types and classes of vehicles driven for company business.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Certificate while operating an NTW vehicle.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds while bending and twisting, and occasionally lift more than 50 pounds.
At least one year with no at-fault accidents and a clean motor vehicle record.
Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Employment is contingent on a conditional offer and completion of required pre-employment screenings, as permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of experience; box truck and/or delivery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate company vehicles safely, efficiently, and courteously in accordance with TBC policies.
Pick, stage, and load trucks as requested.
Understand and comply with DOT regulations, including hours-of-service requirements.
Maintain thorough knowledge of products and operating procedures.
Follow predetermined route sequences when delivering tires and equipment to customers.
Handle cash-on-delivery payments securely and according to company policy, when applicable.
Keep the vehicle and work area clean, safe, and secure.
Provide exceptional customer service consistent with the company’s People-Focused Values.
Report to work wearing the clean, laundered uniform provided by NTW.
Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently as needed.
Complete Driver Vehicle Inspection reports as required by company policy and DOT regulations.
Perform other duties as requested or needed.
Assist with general warehouse maintenance and inventory organization.
