About The Position

TBC Corporation is hiring newly experienced and seasoned delivery drivers for a full-time Warehouse Delivery Driver position. Service and Delivery Drivers provide excellent customer service by delivering products professionally and safely in company vehicles. They also assist with general warehouse inventory maintenance and organization. The position may lead to career growth opportunities.

Requirements

Safety-first mentality.
At least 1 year of experience; box truck or delivery experience is preferred.
At least 1 year without at-fault accidents and a clean motor vehicle record.
Current driver’s license appropriate for the types and classes of vehicles driven for company business.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Certificate while operating an NTW vehicle.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds while bending and twisting, and occasionally lift more than 50 pounds.
Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Employment is contingent upon a conditional offer and completion of required pre-employment screenings, as permitted by law.

Responsibilities

Operate company vehicles safely, efficiently, and courteously in accordance with TBC policies.
Pick, stage, and load trucks as requested.
Understand and comply with DOT regulations, including hours-of-service requirements.
Maintain thorough knowledge of products and operating procedures.
Follow predetermined route sequencing when delivering tires and equipment to customers.
Securely handle cash-on-delivery payments by cash or check when applicable, according to company policy.
Maintain a clean, safe, and secure vehicle and work area.
Provide excellent customer service based on the company’s People-Focused Values.
Wear a clean, laundered uniform provided by NTW.
Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently as needed.
Complete Driver Vehicle Inspection reports as required by company policy and DOT regulations.
Perform other duties as requested or needed.
