The RVP Carelon Sales - CareBridge is responsible for the development and execution of Carelon's growth strategy for home and community-based services, leading to the identification and acquisition of new business that will meet the company’s revenue and profitability goals. This role will organize and lead all sales efforts for CareBridge services, across all customer channels; while also ensuring direct alignment with the Carelon business plan, solution roadmap, and ongoing client engagement activities. The RVP Carelon Sales will work collaboratively on marketing and communications efforts with Carelon’s marketing group. The RVP Carelon Sales will manage, recruit, train, and lead a team of sales professionals to service the needs of the assigned business partners. The ideal executive will develop and implement strategies that drive our business towards sustained long-term growth, ensuring overall success. They will have proven experience in effectively leading other leaders, teams, and cross-functional groups, maintaining a strong focus on results with an action-oriented approach that inspires the entire team. The successful executive will have a proven track record in building and leading effective teams, fostering a culture dedicated to execution, collaboration, and communication. They will cultivate a growth-oriented and learning-focused environment for our associates by applying consistent coaching, timely performance management, and engaging in active mentoring.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree and a minimum of 10 years of related experience , including minimum 5 years of management experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background
  • Ability to travel

Responsibilities

  • Identify, target, and secure new business from existing/new clients to achieve goals in growth, profitability, and strategic value.
  • Blend market validation research, key constituent outreach and traditional sales prospecting to attain key market insights, pipeline and supportive positioning that will bolster Carelon’s product/service selling strategies and communications that will communicate the Carelon’s value proposition.
  • Synthesize external validation studies and internal perspectives, analysis and reports to build sales growth playbooks that lay out the sale and marketing road to success.
  • Support Test & Learn product development and program coordination with Carelon Health businesses
  • Manage and coordinate marketing and communication with the appropriate leaders.
  • Establish sales and supporting functions for new client and new market sales growth.
  • Champion proposal response and content development for growth related initiatives.
  • Hire, train, coach, counsel, and evaluate performance of direct reports.
