About The Position
The RV Technician is a key member of General RV’s service team, responsible for servicing new and used RVs and helping maintain a high-performing, customer-focused service center. The role focuses on interior, exterior, electrical, and plumbing repairs; technicians do not service chassis or engines. Technicians inspect RVs thoroughly, meet company quality standards, and explain technical issues and repairs clearly to customers. RV-specific certifications are provided by General RV; ASE certification is not required.
Requirements
- RV and/or marine experience is required.
- Must provide own tools.
- Ability to multitask and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
- Reliable, with a strong work ethic.
- Valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Service new and used RVs.
- Perform work on RV interiors, exteriors, electrical systems, and plumbing; chassis and engine work is not included.
- Thoroughly inspect RVs.
- Meet the company’s quality standards.
- Clearly explain technical issues to customers and how they can be repaired.
- Multitask and complete work in a timely and efficient manner.
