About The Position

Ski's Truck & RV Sales is seeking a motivated RV Technician to prepare campers and RVs for customer pickup. The role involves inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining RVs, as well as explaining RV features to customers at purchase. Applicants should have 1–3 years of experience working on RVs or in a service or repair facility. Compensation is $40,000–$60,000 per year, plus commission. Benefits are available following an eligibility period.

Requirements

Repair and service ability and aptitude.
High school diploma or equivalent.
1–3 years of experience in an RV shop, maintenance repair, or a similar field.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent customer service skills.
Valid driver's license and a good work and attendance record.
Ability to perform work that may require heavy lifting and use of ladders and other tools or equipment.

Nice To Haves

RV knowledge.
Knowledge of RV systems and components.
Strong HVAC skills.

Responsibilities

Test camper components as indicated on the Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) sheet and meet or exceed testing performance efficiencies.
Perform repairs, maintenance, winterizations, and warranty work on campers and RVs, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
Conduct diagnostic tests to identify issues and determine appropriate solutions.
Connect campers and demonstrate how RV features work to customers upon purchase.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and assist with cleaning the shop as needed.
