About The Position
Custom Truck Accessories' RV and Truck Camper Center is hiring a full-time RV Tech focused on slide-in truck campers. The role includes pre-delivery inspections and upfits on new campers, RV service work primarily on truck campers, and some truck accessory upfit work when needed. RV-specific experience is not required; the company is willing to train candidates with a strong mechanical or installation background. The RV and Truck Camper Center handles sales, service, and upfits for slide-in truck campers. Its lineup includes Scout, Host, and Northwood campers, and it is the regional authorized Go Fast Campers dealer and installer. The RV team works on products ranging from lightweight overlanding platforms to full hard-side campers. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with overtime available based on workload. Benefits begin after 90 days of employment.
Requirements
- Mechanical aptitude and hands-on installation or repair experience in automotive, RV, marine, or related trades.
- Comfort troubleshooting electrical, plumbing, and propane systems, or willingness to learn.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work.

Responsibilities
- Perform pre-delivery inspections on new slide-in truck campers, checking systems, fit, and function before customer delivery.
- Complete camper upfits, including tie-downs, wiring, plumbing hookups, and accessory installation.
- Diagnose and repair RV systems, including electrical, plumbing, propane, and appliances, primarily on truck campers.
- Support truck accessory upfit work as workload requires, including wiring, suspension, tie-downs, wheels, and tires.
- Follow proper procedures to ensure work is safe, clean, and consistent.
- Review work orders with sales staff and confirm accuracy before starting jobs.
- Communicate with team members to keep jobs on track and customers updated.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
