The role involves supporting a government agency with Translation and Transcriptions. Linguists must possess excellent English skills and the ability to produce precise English translations.

Requirements

Must pass customer testing ILR Level 4 in Russian.
Familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Telegram, Reddit, LinkedIn and Snapchat.

Nice To Haves

Moderator of focal point for social media pages or activity is considered a plus.
Blogging while drawing upon linguistic/cultural expertise.
Content Management.
Subject Matter Expertise in Counterproliferation or Sponsor Operations areas of focus.

Responsibilities

Translate and transcribe foreign-language text and audio into English.
Type in one of the required languages in real-time, via social media, text message, email, and other forms of communication.
Interpretation between source and target language.
Transcription into English.
Translation into English and source language.
Collection from published, online and broadcast media.
Monitoring published, online and broadcast media while identifying relevant content.
Summarizing/Gisting while drawing upon linguistic or cultural expertise.
Subject Matter Expertise in Cyber areas of focus.
