This position is a collaborative effort among Bladen Community College, Sampson Community College, and Southeastern Community College and is funded through the Health Educators and Employers Aligned Local Strategies (HE²ALS) initiative. The selected candidate will be employed by one of the participating institutions and will serve the healthcare workforce development needs of the entire Sandhills Regional Partnership. The position will be based at the participating institution determined to be the most appropriate location for the selected candidate and the needs of the partnership, with regular travel throughout the service region. North Carolina's Sandhills region is home to at least six community colleges, five healthcare systems, and a network of K-12 partners all working together to move more students into healthcare careers. As the HE²ALS Regional Healthcare Workforce Strategist, you will serve as the connective link across partner institutions, aligning education, training, and employment efforts so that students have clearer pathways into the healthcare workforce and employers have a stronger pipeline of talent. You will work directly with community college presidents, healthcare leaders, and institutional leadership to shape regional strategy while ensuring that plans translate into coordinated action across the region.
