About The Position

As a Regional Fleet Strategist, you will play a critical role in maximizing the profitability, utilization, and lifecycle performance of SIXT's fleet across your assigned region. You will combine analytics, forecasting, and strategic decision-making to optimize vehicle placement, acquisition, utilization, and defleet strategies while partnering closely with Revenue Management, Purchasing, Operations, and Remarketing teams. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, Operations, Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field required.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Ability to evaluate complex business trade-offs and balance short-term operational needs with long-term profitability objectives.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel required.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate effectively across multiple business functions.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities while delivering results in a dynamic environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant experience in fleet planning, operations, logistics, transportation, finance, analytics, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience with SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Python, or similar analytical tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize the regional fleet plan, ensuring the right vehicles are available in the right locations to maximize utilization, revenue, and profitability.
  • Maintain and continuously refine rolling fleet forecasts, balancing acquisition, utilization, transfer, and defleet decisions across your assigned region.
  • Analyze market trends, demand patterns, fleet performance, and operational metrics to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate closely with Revenue Management, Purchasing, Operations, and Remarketing teams to align fleet strategy with business objectives and market conditions.
  • Evaluate fleet placement, one-way activity, vehicle transfers, and lifecycle performance to maximize total asset value throughout the vehicle lifecycle.
  • Develop reporting, forecasting models, and strategic recommendations that support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
