The Rural Health Transformation Program Manager is a limited duration (1 year) position funded through the Oregon Health Authority. Funding for future years has not yet been determined, though there is a possibility that this role and its associated work may continue beyond the initial year. This position is open to Oregon and SW Washington candidates only. Please note that we are a dog-friendly office. The Rural Health Transformation Program Manager reports to the VP of Programs and is responsible for management of the Rural Health Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) Transformation Grant for the Oregon Primary Care Association (OPCA). This position involves supporting the implementation of the RHTP FQHC Transformation grant funding, coordinating resources across OPCA, individual health centers, tribal organizations, and other stakeholders. This position acts as the primary liaison between OPCA, health centers, tribes, and the Oregon Health Authority. OPCA is a nonprofit membership association for all of Oregon’s community health centers (CHCs), also known as federally qualified health centers (FQHCs). Our mission is to lead the transformation of primary care to achieve healthcare for all through our values of data-driven integrity, collaboration, and innovation. To accomplish our shared goals, we support health centers and key partners by facilitating peer network gatherings, trainings, site visits, learning collaboratives, and data-driven improvement projects. In addition, we work with policymakers and partners to share the impact health centers have in their communities and advance policy to improve patients’ lives and the ability of health centers to serve them.
