About The Position
The Runner is an entry-level, onsite position at Coon Rapids Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, designed for someone interested in learning dealership operations. The role reports to the Fixed Operations Manager and involves spending approximately 80% of the time driving, safely greeting clients and moving their vehicles to and from designated areas. The Runner also welcomes and escorts clients to the appropriate departments, communicates client needs to dealership personnel, and maintains, cleans, and restocks client refreshment stations and waiting areas. The schedule is Monday through Friday, full-time, with open availability. The hourly rate is $17.50–$20.00. The position may also be eligible for short- and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation. Actual pay may vary based on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location, with final compensation established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws. Applicants must be high school graduates or equivalent, at least 18 years old, and have a valid driver's license in their state of residence and an acceptable driving record. Requirements
- At least 1 year of customer service experience.
- At least 1 year of driving experience.
- Ability to work with different departments and clients.
- Acceptable driving record.
- Valid driver's license in the state of residence.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- At least 18 years old.
Responsibilities
- Safely greet clients and move their vehicles to and from designated areas; driving accounts for approximately 80% of the role.
- Welcome and escort clients to the appropriate department or area.
- Clearly communicate client needs and expectations to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain, clean, and restock client refreshment stations and waiting areas.
