About The Position
Canonita, located in the Venetian Resort, is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Food Runner to join its restaurant team. The Food Runner delivers personable hospitality and helps create memorable dining experiences. This role supports the guest experience by ensuring food is presented to company standards and delivered promptly to maintain optimal temperature and quality.
Requirements
- High school education.
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
Nice To Haves
- Previous hospitality experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintain proper grooming and uniform standards.
- Ensure the interior and exterior of the restaurant are clean.
- Observe guests’ body language to anticipate their needs.
- Ensure food presentation meets company standards.
- Deliver food promptly from the kitchen to guests.
- Obtain items guests need for a positive dining experience.
- Follow food-handling safety procedures and policies.
- Answer guest questions about food and beverages and inform them about available restaurant services.
- Listen to guest complaints, contact a manager about problems, and resolve complaints to support guest satisfaction.
- Assist team members with additional items they need.
