About The Position

Runners help servers deliver food to tables, ensure orders are taken in sequence at the line, and check that items are plated and prepared correctly before delivery. They also help disassemble trays, keep the dishwashing line running, and restock utensils, napkins, glassware, and other dining room supplies. This role supports a high-energy restaurant team and contributes to a positive, safe, and sanitary dining environment.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must provide documentation showing authorization to work in the United States.
• Minimum of one year of relevant experience in a kitchen or service-focused environment.
• Must obtain and maintain required certificates, licenses, or registrations when required by government agencies; an SNHD-approved Food Handler Card is specified.
• Ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently while promoting teamwork.
• Solid understanding and application of federal, state, and local food sanitation regulations.
• Working knowledge of computer programs, data entry, and point-of-sale systems.
• Basic math and recording abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Ability to observe and respond quickly to situations and requests, including while handling stressful situations.
• Must be reliable and flexible for scheduling.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, nights, and some holidays.
• A service-oriented mindset, willingness to learn and grow, and pride, excellence, and integrity in work.

Nice To Haves

• Previous hospitality and/or food service experience is a plus, but not required.
