About The Position

Marcus Theatres is hiring a part-time Food Runner to support its food and beverage service team and help provide guests with an excellent dining experience. The Food Runner relays information among management, kitchen staff, servers, and customers, and assists servers during busy periods to help ensure high-quality service and guest satisfaction. The role is based in a professional bar and restaurant environment.

Requirements

• Enthusiasm for helping provide an excellent guest dining experience.
• Ability to support staff and improve the dining experience for customers.
• Ability to relay important information among management, kitchen staff, servers, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Set up garnishes for dishes, assemble trays, and stock bread.
• Polish silverware.
• Set up and break down the station at the beginning and end of shifts.
• Assist with special guest requests to support guest satisfaction.
• Communicate with servers and kitchen associates to support guest satisfaction.
• Serve food to tables when needed.
• Assist with bussing duties when needed.
• Remove dirty dishes from kitchen and server areas.
• Maintain standard plate presentation.
• Maintain the condition and cleanliness of the work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
