About The Position

Valiant is seeking an RSOI&R Work Group Leader to operate and supervise the operation of tactical vehicles and equipment, transport personnel and cargo, oversee cargo handling, and perform ammunition warehousing and aerial resupply tasks. The role also assists with the direct supervision of employees and ensures work complies with applicable regulations, policies, and mission support requirements. The position requires travel within the continental United States and foreign countries, shift work, and work on weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Class A CDL license.
• Able to travel unaccompanied throughout the continental United States and foreign countries.
• Must submit to and pass pre-employment drug screening and be subject to random drug screening.
• Able to work shift work, holidays, and weekends.
• Must obtain a HAZMAT CDL and Tanker endorsement within 60 days of hire, as required by duty.
• Able to lift up to 60 pounds, be in good physical condition, and work outside.

Responsibilities

• Operate large tactical vehicles, buses, forklifts, dually trucks, gooseneck trailers, refrigerated trucks, and UTVs to transport personnel, cargo, fuel, and ammunition over specified routes.
• Supervise loading and securing cargo in compliance with regulatory requirements and vehicle capabilities.
• Supervise or perform operator-level inspections and maintenance on assigned vehicles and equipment.
• Supervise or perform ammunition warehousing duties, including accountability, storage, delivery, and distribution.
• Perform aerial resupply tasks, including pallet building, loading, delivery, and recovery from designated airfields or drop zones, as well as parachute recovery.
• Assist the Shift Leader and Division Lead with direct supervision of employees, task assignments, and compliance with Federal, State, Fort Polk, and Valiant regulations and policies.
• Perform other duties in accordance with mission support requirements and as assigned.
