Route Service Merchandiser
About The Position
GENDA Americas, a leading amusement vending service with over 55,000 machines nationwide, is seeking a passionate and independent merchandiser. Kiddleton has an immediate full-time opening for an Amusement Games Service Tech (RSM) based in Nashville, TN. This route position involves managing a designated territory efficiently and professionally, including repairing equipment, merchandising gaming equipment with plush and prizes, maintaining equipment in good working order, stocking dispensing equipment, adhering to cleaning and aesthetic policies, performing accurate route collections with proper cash handling, establishing professional relationships with locations and staff, detailed record keeping, completing follow-ups, optimizing locations for revenue, and finding new leads. Japanese language skills are strongly preferred to support field initiatives with Japanese-speaking leadership.
Requirements
- Solid experience managing a route or field service background
- Experience within the amusement gaming industry is a big plus
- 2 years of electronics or mechanical repairs preferred
- Minimum 2 years of Cash handling preferred
- Driving record must be clean and upheld
- Detailed and customer service-oriented
- Solid work ethic for being punctual, dependable, and customer-driven
- Efficient at managing a workload with minimal supervision
- Accountable, Productive, and Personable
- Always working accurately and efficiently
- Solid organization skills in managing paperwork, tools, parts, etc.
Nice To Haves
- Japanese language skills strongly preferred in order to communicate with Japanese-speaking leadership to support ongoing field initiatives, including Route AI, product testing, and merchandising analysis programs
Responsibilities
- Repairing equipment and troubleshooting issues.
- Merchandising of gaming equipment (plush and prizes) as needed.
- Maintain amusements equipment at customer locations in good working order, product stocked in all dispensing equipment and company policies adhered to for cleaning and aesthetics.
- Responsible for accurate route collections of monies, adhering to proper cash handling procedures.
- Establish and maintain professional relationship with locations and staff.
- Detailed record keeping of all meters.
- Complete follow up as assigned.
- Ensure each location is set up to maximize revenue and earning potential through location rotations and promotion opportunities.
- Find new leads as available.
