Route Service Merchandiser
About The Position
GENDA Americas, a leading amusement vending service with over 55,000 machines nationwide, is seeking a passionate and independent merchandiser. Kiddleton has an immediate full-time opening for an Amusement Games Service Tech (RSM) based in Columbia, SC. This route position involves managing a designated territory efficiently and professionally, including repairing equipment, merchandising gaming equipment, maintaining equipment in good working order, collecting monies accurately, establishing professional relationships with locations, detailed record keeping, completing follow-ups, and setting up locations to maximize revenue. Japanese language skills are strongly preferred for communication with Japanese-speaking leadership on initiatives like Route AI, product testing, and merchandising analysis. Employees demonstrating fluent Japanese proficiency may be eligible for a language differential bonus.
Requirements
- Solid experience managing a route or field service background
- Experience within the amusement gaming industry is a big plus
- 2 years of electronics or mechanical repairs preferred
- Minimum 2 years of Cash handling preferred
- Driving record must be clean and upheld
- Detailed and customer service-oriented
- Solid work ethic for being punctual, dependable, and customer-driven
- Efficient at managing a workload with minimal supervision
- Accountable, Productive, and Personable
- Always working accurately and efficiently
- Solid organization skills in managing paperwork, tools, parts, etc.
Nice To Haves
- Japanese language skills strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Repairing equipment and troubleshooting issues.
- Merchandising of gaming equipment (plush and prizes) as needed.
- Maintain amusements equipment at customer locations in good working order, product stocked in all dispensing equipment and company policies adhered to for cleaning and aesthetics.
- Responsible for accurate route collections of monies, adhering to proper cash handling procedures.
- Establish and maintain professional relationship with locations and staff.
- Detailed record keeping of all meters.
- Complete follow up as assigned.
- Ensure each location is set up to maximize revenue and earning potential through location rotations and promotion opportunities.
- Find new leads as available.
