Route Service Representative
About The Position
The Route Service Driver safely delivers Krispy Kreme products to assigned customer locations while providing professional, friendly service and maintaining product quality and brand standards. The role supports sales and guest satisfaction through accurate deliveries, proper product handling, efficient routes, and a clean vehicle while representing Krispy Kreme in the field. The position includes operating company vehicles, inspecting and maintaining them, handling products and delivery records, addressing customer needs, and supporting sales, merchandising, cleaning, and shop or distribution operations as assigned. Work takes place in the shop, vehicle, and customer delivery environments, with exposure to heat, cold, noise, wet or slippery surfaces, and cleaning chemicals. Schedules may vary, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs. The role involves standing, walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, grasping, paperwork, and driving for extended periods. Lifting and carrying is frequent for 0–25 pounds, occasional with assistance for 26–50 pounds, and seldom for 51–75 pounds, which requires team lifting. Occasional pushing and pulling of approximately 10–40 pounds of force is also required. Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to safely operate company delivery vehicles.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Basic mathematical, recordkeeping, and literacy skills.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check, and driving record review.
- Ability to follow delivery schedules, route plans, and procedures; maintain attention to safety, accuracy, and customer service; manage multiple tasks and time-sensitive deliveries; communicate clearly and professionally; and maintain regular, predictable attendance.

Responsibilities
- Deliver products to assigned customer locations according to established routes and schedules.
- Provide courteous, professional service to customers and communicate about deliveries, product availability, and service issues.
- Verify product quantities, quality, and accuracy at delivery, and assist customers with unloading or carrying products as needed.
- Safely operate company vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and company policies.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, report issues promptly, and maintain vehicle cleanliness and organization.
- Follow safety, security, and loss prevention procedures.
- Load, transport, and unload products while maintaining quality and freshness; handle, stack, and secure products properly.
- Complete delivery documentation, invoices, and route logs accurately.
- Handle returns, credits, and product rotation according to company procedures.
- Represent Krispy Kreme brand standards and values and support upselling, promotions, or merchandising initiatives as assigned.
- Maintain basic knowledge of Krispy Kreme products, history, and current promotions.
- Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle, delivery equipment, and storage containers; clean delivery racks, trays, and equipment as assigned.
- Perform basic cleaning tasks at customer locations when required by service agreements and other cleaning or side work assigned by management.
- Communicate route issues, customer concerns, and operational needs to management.
- Use route, maintenance, and delivery logs as required; support shop or distribution operations as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
