About The Position
Unitex is searching for Route Service Drivers in Mount Vernon, NY. This is a full-time, union position where drivers are home every night and weekend, working only 4 days per week (Monday through Friday). The company provides work uniforms at no cost and offers paid time off for vacation, personal, sick, and holidays. Drivers are coached, trained, and motivated to move into management roles. Unitex is a family-run business with over 100 years of experience in the medical uniform and linen rental industry, and is the largest family-owned healthcare service provider in the country with 1900 employees. Requirements
- Must be at least 25 years old
- 1+ years of delivery driver experience
- CDL license NOT required
- Valid basic driver’s license

- Customer service skills preferred
Responsibilities
- Load/unload your truck at the plant each day
- Unload clean delivery and load soil pickup at customer
- Manage electronic device for delivery invoicing
- Receive customer orders and submit to plant upon return each day
- Maintain a positive relationship with your customers
- Maintain a clean truck
