About The Position

The Route Service Driver operates a company service truck and travels to various locations to service, pump, and clean portable restrooms and/or holding tanks. The role is described as the heart of the business. The driver performs the work safely, follows USS and DOT requirements and standards, and provides customer service at work sites. The position requires frequent lifting and pushing of 50 to 150 pounds and performing duties in a range of postures and movements.

Requirements

• At least two years of commercial driving experience.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL or non-commercial).
• Excellent time management, customer service, and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to sit, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as duties require.
• Ability to frequently lift and push 50 to 150 pounds during the work shift.
• Flexibility to accommodate route adjustments or changes.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic service truck driving functions in accordance with USS and DOT requirements.
• Perform all work duties safely in accordance with USS and DOT safety standards to prevent accidents or injuries.
• Service portable toilets according to the USS 8 point service standard.
• Interact with customers at work sites to ensure services are completed to their standards.
• Adjust routes as needed to meet customer needs.
• Provide routing feedback to the Operations Manager, Supervisor, or Coordinator to improve efficiency and customer service.
• Discuss customers’ portable toilet needs and plan to meet their current and future needs.
