About The Position

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly, hard-working Service Route Driver for a full-time position in Warren, Ohio. The driver transports food and products to client locations, services vending machines and coolers, manages inventory and money collection, and maintains the company vehicle. AVI Foodsystems, founded in 1960, provides comprehensive food services focused on quality ingredients, service, and value.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old to operate a company vehicle.
Valid driver's license and a good driving record; a CDL is not required.
Ability to pass a DOT physical.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Outgoing personality and skills to promote products.
Excellent organization and time-management skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and AVI team members.
Ability to work independently and use time efficiently.

Responsibilities

Load the company vehicle with the products needed to service assigned locations.
Drive a vehicle to transport food and products to client locations.
Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested.
Stock shelves or racks in vending machines and coolers.
Ensure cold food products are refrigerated in the truck and at client accounts.
Oversee merchandise ordering and control inventory.
Collect unsold and stale merchandise.
Collect coins and bills from machines.
Communicate positively with customers, including making eye contact and smiling.
Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at client accounts.
Manage the care of the company vehicle.
