About The Position

Franz Family Bakery is seeking a reliable, safe, highly organized Route Sales Representative to maintain bakery products in assigned stores and deliver products to customer locations. The role involves stocking shelves, rotating outdated products to ensure freshness, presenting products attractively, and keeping assigned bakery displays neat and orderly. The representative drives a company vehicle and loads and unloads product, including pushing and pulling racks and trays. Additional duties may be assigned. This is a full-time union position with Teamsters Local 117. Employees must be available to work weekdays and weekends between 4 a.m. and 6 p.m.; the schedule will be discussed during the interview.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar merchandising and/or route sales position.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Availability to work weekdays and weekends between 4 a.m. and 6 p.m.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen and obtain a DOT medical card.
• Clean driving record; provide a current driving abstract from the department of licensing if called for an interview.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, reach, and perform frequent to constant handling activities.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 40 pounds and maneuver large, bulky product racks.
• Strong organization and communication skills, including the ability to communicate with people inside and outside the organization.
• Proven work history demonstrating reliability, safety, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to uphold Franz core values.
