About The Position

The Route Sales Associate brings PepsiCo food brands, including Lay’s, Doritos, and Cheetos, to local stores and helps keep shelves stocked. The role drives a PepsiCo truck on assigned routes, delivers and checks in orders, unloads and stocks products, rotates inventory, places orders, maintains records, and builds relationships with store managers to support sales and promotional initiatives. The work is fast-paced and hands-on, with most of the day spent on the go and regularly lifting, bending, and moving product. Hands-on and classroom training are provided. Schedules vary week to week; associates are staffed five days out of seven and may work any day of the week. Route start times vary, with most routes starting by or before 5:30 a.m. The workday ends after scheduled deliveries are completed; an average route takes 9–10 hours. The position is based in Capitol Heights, Maryland, and is described as full-time, with competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for career growth.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years old.
Have a valid driver’s license with proof of insurance and the ability to obtain other licenses required by state law.
Be able to frequently lift 40 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Drive a PepsiCo truck on a route and serve local stores.
Deliver and check in orders with store teams, including collecting proof of delivery when needed.
Unload products, stock shelves and displays, and rotate inventory to maintain freshness and quality.
Order products and maintain records throughout the day using provided tools.
Build relationships with store managers to grow sales, secure displays, and execute national and local initiatives.
