About The Position
The Route Sales Associate delivers and sells beloved PepsiCo brands, including Lay’s, Doritos, and Cheetos, to local stores while keeping shelves stocked for consumers. The associate drives a PepsiCo truck on an assigned route, serves store teams, delivers and checks in orders, unloads products, stocks shelves and displays, rotates inventory, places product orders, maintains records, and builds relationships with store managers to grow sales and execute initiatives. Hands-on and classroom training are provided. This is a full-time role based in Huntington, West Virginia. The schedule is five days worked and two days off, with 50–55 hours per week. Start times range from 3:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m., depending on the route, and the workday ends after all stops are completed. The job involves a fast-paced, hands-on environment with frequent lifting, bending, and moving product throughout the shift.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Have a valid driver’s license with proof of insurance and the ability to obtain other licensures required by state law.
- Be able to frequently lift 40 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Drive a PepsiCo truck on an assigned route and serve local stores.
- Deliver and check in orders with store teams, including collecting proof of delivery when needed.
- Unload product, stock shelves and displays, and rotate inventory to ensure freshness and quality.
- Order product and maintain records throughout the day using provided tools.
- Build relationships with store managers to grow sales, secure displays, and execute national and local initiatives.
