About The Position
The Route Sales Associate brings PepsiCo brands such as Lay’s, Doritos, and Cheetos to local stores. The role involves driving a PepsiCo truck on a route, delivering and checking in orders, unloading and stocking products, rotating inventory, placing orders, maintaining records, and working with store teams to support sales and merchandising initiatives. Training is provided through hands-on and classroom instruction. This is a fast-paced, hands-on position that keeps the associate on the go for most of the day and involves lifting, bending, and moving product. The position is based in Bend, Oregon, with a variable schedule and two days off per week. Start times range from 3:30 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.; the end time depends on when the work is completed. Pay is listed as a $64,000 annual target. Eligible hires may receive a $2,000 retention bonus.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Have a valid driver’s license with proof of insurance and the ability to obtain other licenses required by state law.
- Be able to frequently lift 40 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Drive a PepsiCo truck on a route and serve local stores.
- Deliver and check in orders with store teams, including collecting proof of delivery when needed.
- Unload products, stock shelves and displays, and rotate inventory to maintain freshness and quality.
- Order products and maintain records throughout the day using provided tools.
- Build relationships with store managers to grow sales, secure displays, and carry out national and local initiatives.
