Route Driver (Class A)

About The Position

Clover is hiring a Class A Route Driver to deliver dairy products to locations throughout Northern California. Drivers follow assigned routes and schedules, operate commercial delivery vehicles, and load and unload refrigerated products for customers. The role includes completing logs and reports, using a handheld computer, and complying with Department of Transportation regulations and safety standards. Drivers must also follow Clover’s food safety and quality programs and understand their responsibilities for maintaining food safety and quality. The position has no overnight stays and offers pay and benefits. Clover Sonoma operates a 24-hour, seven-day-a-week processing and distribution plant, so schedules vary and flexibility is critical. Shifts are typically four 10-hour days. Applicants must pass a drug test after a conditional offer and before starting work.

Requirements

Current Commercial Class A driver’s license.
Experience as a delivery driver.
Solid driving record with no traffic violations.
Ability to operate forklifts and tractors in a variety of weather and traffic conditions.
Organizational and time management skills.
Ability to lift and/or carry at least 50 pounds and bend and twist.
Minimum high school diploma or GED.
Flexibility to work schedules that vary.

Nice To Haves

Experience working in cold refrigerated vehicles and grocery coolers.

Responsibilities
