About The Position

Clover is seeking a Route Driver to deliver dairy products to locations throughout Northern California. Drivers operate commercial delivery vehicles on specific routes and schedules, load and unload cold products, and complete required logs and reports. They use handheld computer devices and follow Department of Transportation regulations and safety standards. Drivers must carry out their work in accordance with Clover’s food safety and quality programs and understand their responsibilities for maintaining food safety and product quality. The plant operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, so schedules vary and flexibility is critical. Shifts are typically four 10-hour days. The role has no overnight stays and offers pay and benefits. Candidates must pass a drug test after a conditional offer and before beginning work.

Requirements

Current Commercial Class A driver’s license.
Experience as a delivery driver.
Solid driving record with no traffic violations.
Ability to operate forklifts and tractors in a variety of weather and traffic conditions.
Organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to lift and/or carry at least 50 pounds and bend and twist.
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to work a variable schedule; flexibility is critical.
Must pass a drug test with results satisfactory to the company after a conditional offer and before commencing work.

Experience working in cold refrigerated vehicles and grocery coolers.
