Route Driver - Full & Part-Time Available
About The Position
Waypoint Detailed Delivery is a fast-growing logistics company specializing in time-sensitive transportation within the food and agriculture industry. Route Drivers, also called Field Representatives, transport food and beverage samples from client sites to laboratory destinations for testing. They use company-provided vehicles and mobile technology to follow established routes, maintain communication with dispatch, and ensure deliveries are accurate and timely while upholding safety, reliability, and precision standards. The listed schedule is Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. The position is available full-time or part-time and pays $18–$19 per hour. The company provides a well-maintained fleet of cars and vans, tools, technology, training, and support from its dispatch and operations team.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to meet insurance requirements.
- Successful completion of a background check.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; samples are transported in coolers.
Responsibilities
- Operate a company-provided vehicle to complete scheduled routes.
- Pick up and transport food and beverage samples from client locations to laboratory destinations.
- Communicate with dispatch.
- Accurately enter and track sample data using provided mobile tools.
- Follow company policies, safety regulations, and traffic laws.
