About The Position

This is a full-time position responsible for the efficient delivery of commissary to facilities in the State of North Carolina. The role involves separating and preparing individual inmate commissary orders for distribution, loading/unloading totes at correctional facilities, and distributing orders to inmates as directed. The driver must comply with all safety and health standards and work closely with Remote Site Managers or the home office to ensure great service, reporting any service or relationship issues immediately. The position also requires representing the company positively, assisting in the efficiency of onsite commissary operations and client satisfaction, and ensuring all facility security regulations are adhered to.

Requirements

Read and comprehend documentation written at a nationally accepted high school level.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to work in a secure corrections environment.
Possess excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to successfully pass a background check, drug screen, and DOT physical.
Lift items weighing up to fifty (50) pounds to a height of 54 inches.
Ability to communicate verbally.
Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Efficiently deliver commissary to facilities in the State of North Carolina.
Separate and prepare individual inmate commissary orders for distribution.
Load and unload totes at each correctional facility.
Distribute individual commissary orders to inmates at designated times and locations.
Comply with all safety and health standards set forth by the company and government regulations.
Work closely with Remote Site Managers or the home office to provide great service.
Report service or relationship issues immediately.
Represent the company in a positive manner at all times.
Assist in ensuring overall efficiency of onsite commissary operation and client satisfaction.
Ensure that all facility security regulations and procedures are adhered to by all company staff on site.
Carry out duties as assigned by company management.
