About The Position

ABM is seeking a motivated, friendly Route Driver to join its cleaning crew in North North Jersey and surrounding areas. The role involves driving a company-provided vehicle and performing general cleaning tasks at assigned facilities. It contributes to maintaining workplace appearance and sanitation for employees, clients, and visitors. The regular schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Overtime hours are available, including night shifts and weekends. The pay rate is $18.00–$19.00 per hour; the specific offer may vary based on experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and market data. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a clear record.
Floor Tech and/or janitorial experience is required.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety standards.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and meet hygiene standards.
Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste according to company policies.
Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
Maintain and properly store cleaning equipment and supplies.
Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor.
Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects as needed.
Follow safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation.
Drive a company-provided vehicle to assigned facilities.
