About The Position
S&S Tire of Birmingham, AL, a leading multi-location regional wholesale tire dealer, is seeking an experienced DRIVER. This role involves driving a 22–26-foot box truck and requires recent DOT driving experience. The ideal candidate is a true professional with superior skills.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift and/or move tires with or without mechanical assistance
- Frequent bending, twisting and lifting
- Must be willing, and have the ability to, to operate all warehouse related equipment
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable driving experience and 23 years of age
- Good vehicle safety record (no more than 3 violations in the last 3 years)
- Valid driver's license - in good standing
Nice To Haves
- Forklift license is a plus
Responsibilities
- Delivering tires to customers
- Pulling and loading tires
- Assisting in the warehouse after daily deliveries are completed when necessary
