Route Driver - River Falls
About The Position
Viking Coca-Cola is a privately held, family-run company owned by the Faber Family. The Route Driver keeps local customers stocked by safely and efficiently delivering product across River Falls and nearby communities. The role works assigned local routes, serves convenience stores, gas stations, and grocery outlets, maintains product displays, and provides professional customer service. The workday begins at 4:00 AM, Monday through Friday, at 2814 Prairie Drive in River Falls. The position involves approximately 40–50 hours per week and includes warehouse setup, route deliveries, and completing documentation before leaving for the day. Candidates must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL, or a Class B permit with an upgrade to Class A within 30 days.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to handle physical work, including lifting, bending, and twisting, and to operate equipment.
- Comfort with scanners, route software, and basic paperwork.
- Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
Responsibilities
- Operate a route truck on assigned local routes and follow federal requirements.
- Complete required vehicle inspections and keep equipment in safe working order.
- Load, secure, unload, and merchandise product at customer locations.
- Use handheld tools to manage deliveries, invoices, and end-of-day paperwork.
- Provide friendly, professional service and build strong customer relationships.
- Keep displays looking sharp and complete documentation before leaving for the day.
