About The Position

Viking Coca-Cola is a privately held, family-run company owned by the Faber Family. The CDL Route Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering product to local customers in River Falls and nearby communities, helping keep customer shelves stocked and supporting the company’s service reputation. The workday begins at 4:00 AM, Monday through Friday, at 2814 Prairie Drive in River Falls. After preparing at the warehouse, the driver operates an assigned local route and makes regular deliveries to convenience stores, gas stations, and grocery outlets. The role follows a fast, focused pace and typically involves approximately 40–50 hours per week. Drivers handle product and merchandise displays, maintain required documentation, and complete end-of-day paperwork. The position requires physical work, including lifting, bending, and twisting, and the ability to operate equipment. Candidates must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL, or a Class B permit with an upgrade to Class A within 30 days.
Clean driving record.
Ability to handle physical work, including lifting, bending, and twisting, and to operate equipment.
Comfort with scanners, route software, and basic paperwork.
Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.

Responsibilities

Operate a route truck on assigned local routes and follow federal requirements.
Complete required vehicle inspections and keep equipment in safe working order.
Load, secure, unload, and merchandise product at customer locations.
Use handheld tools to manage deliveries, invoices, and end-of-day paperwork.
Provide friendly, professional service and build strong customer relationships.
Keep displays looking sharp and complete documentation before ending the workday.
