Non CDL Recycling Collection Specialist
About The Position
Green Recycling (Bloomington, IL) is seeking a reliable full-time Route Driver / Recycling Collection Specialist. This role is responsible for daily route collection and material handling. Compensation is $190 to $215 per day after training. Green Recycling is a textile recycler and wholesale distributor of secondhand clothing and footwear. Our route team plays a critical role in keeping collections on schedule and delivering dependable service. We value safety, respect, and consistent performance. This is a full-time position with a consistent five-day work week. Saturday work will be required based on business needs. You will be home daily; routes start with early morning dispatch.
Requirements
- Ability to obtain a DOT Federal Medical Card (Fed-Med)
- 1+ year of professional driving experience
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Clean driving record
- Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs throughout the day and work in varying weather conditions
Responsibilities
- Drive an assigned route to service collection locations
- Unload and stage bins
- Load collected materials onto the truck
- Follow all state driving laws and company safety procedures
- Complete basic route documentation
- Communicate daily updates to your supervisor
- This role includes outdoor work in all weather conditions, including inclement weather.
