About The Position

Liberty Tire Recycling is seeking a Rough Grader to inspect and grade used tires before they proceed to final grading. The role helps ensure tires meet quality standards by identifying defects and determining whether tires are suitable for use. Training is provided to help graders assess tire condition and remaining life. The Rough Grader also sorts tire grades and tracks them for inventory purposes. This physically demanding job is performed in all weather conditions.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to inspect tires accurately and quickly.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively throughout the day.
• Dependability and reliable transportation.
• Must have steel-toe boots.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in the tire recycling or manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload tires from trucks.
• Inspect used tires and determine their grade, including identifying defects and assessing whether they are suitable for use.
• Separate tires by grade and keep track of inventory.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
