About The Position

The Rotational Field Service Supervisor role requires an individual with strong leadership and technical skills to manage a team of field technicians within an oilfield service organization. This position involves reporting, team accountability, interviewing and onboarding new hires, and understanding market dynamics. The role demands flexibility to meet customer needs in a dynamic service environment and requires a solid understanding of electronic/mechanical systems, IT/Networking, and specific technical competencies related to rig site systems.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Management experience (10 employees) within an oilfield service organization
  • Must be flexible and responsive to customers' needs in a service environment
  • Good verbal and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • AA Degree and/or equivalent education with 2+ years' experience in a relevant field
  • Electronic/mechanical background preferred

Responsibilities

  • Produce weekly and monthly reports
  • Communicate and hold team accountable when necessary
  • Interview field technician candidates and onboard once hired
  • Gather and utilize competitor intelligence to strengthen our product offering and market position
  • Perform other work-related tasks as assigned
  • Monitor and access rig site MDT systems via Bomgar
  • Interpret technical/electrical schematics
  • Train and mentor direct reports on IT/Networking systems
  • Program and configure DAQ, Microtik AP, and server systems
  • Understand installation and commissioning processes for Rig Side Network and communication system
