About The Position
We are seeking a rotational Chef to join a beautiful 40m classic Feadship. This is a family-oriented program with American owners and an excellent crew longevity record. The program is for private family use with light charter. The yacht has a Jamaican flag and a crew of 8 total. The itinerary includes the Caribbean and New England.
Requirements
- Male preferred due to cabin arrangements
- Minimum of 3 years of yachting experience is preferred
- Verifiable references
- Ability to present a well-organized portfolio, including personal photos and sample menus
- B1/B2 visa or US passport in hand is mandatory
- Willingness to undergo a criminal background check prior to employment
- Valid certifications: STCW, ENG1, Ship’s Cook Certificate, and Food Hygiene Level 3 is mandatory
Responsibilities
- Restaurant timing, presentation, balance
- Experience with baked goods and deserts
- Americana style guest menu + healthy balanced crew food
- Ability to maintain exceptional standards of food hygiene and galley cleanliness
- Willingness to participate in crew watch and other ship side duties
