Requirements

Have a thorough understanding of the room service menu offerings, including food options, beverage selections, and special promotions.
Previous experience in a similar role or in the hospitality industry is preferred but not required. We welcome candidates with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Passion for providing excellent customer service and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.
Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests and team members.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order delivery and guest interaction.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift trays or other items weighing up to [X] pounds.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Deliver food and beverage orders to guest rooms in a timely and professional manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are maintained.
Interact with guests in a friendly and courteous manner while delivering orders, addressing any questions or concerns they may have, and ensuring their satisfaction.
Take room service orders over the phone or through the hotel's ordering system, accurately recording guest preferences and special requests.
Utilize suggestive selling techniques to promote additional menu items or special offerings to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
Set up trays and dining utensils in guest rooms, ensuring all necessary items are provided for a complete dining experience.
Double-check orders before delivery to ensure accuracy and completeness, and verify any special dietary requirements or allergy information provided by guests.
Process payment for room service orders, including cash, credit card, or room charge transactions, following established procedures.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the room service area, including storage areas, service carts, and equipment, following sanitation and safety standards.
