About The Position

The Room Control Representative admits, transfers, and discharges patients to and from rooms using a computer system. The role requires courtesy and patience when interacting with physicians, nurses, clinical departments, patients, families, and others to maintain sound public relations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and one year of admitting experience, or two years of office or clerical experience, or an Associate's degree in Business.
• Completion of a medical terminology course or an assessment score of 80% or better.
• Ability to type at least 30 words per minute.
• Ability to work independently and communicate tactfully.

Nice To Haves

• B.S. degree in Business.
