About The Position

Northside Hospital is seeking a Room Control Representative to admit, transfer, and discharge patients to and from rooms using the computer system. The role requires courteous and patient interactions with physicians, nurses, clinical departments, patients, families, and others to maintain sound public relations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and one year of admitting experience, or two years of office or clerical experience, or an associate's degree in Business.
• Completion of a medical terminology course or an assessment score of 80% or better.
• Ability to type at least 30 words per minute.
• Ability to work independently and communicate tactfully.

Nice To Haves

• B.S. degree in Business.
